Introduction

Ed-Fi interchange schemas define the structure of the XML that transports the data between systems. Ed-Fi Version 1.2 contains a set of 19 Standard Interchange Schemas. They represent field-tested schemas based on the un-modified, non-extended Ed-Fi Core schema to handle common data exchange use-cases. The Ed-Fi Standard Interchange Schema Briefs provide detailed information about each of the Standard Ed-Fi Interchange Schemas.

Audience

This document is for technical professionals who work with educational data, which include the business analysts, database administrators, data architects, software architects and software developers.
